Two hunters claim they have unearthed a bizarre creature with a smiling face and strange teeth in Devon.
Sydney Housley, 25, was out working at a wildlife refuge near Devonport when he received a call about a strange face and a mysterious animal with a mouth filled with teeth.
He says he was baffled by the "swag" of the creature but decided to investigate.

The man's colleagues called him to say they had discovered a "thing with an odd face and weird teeth" in their quarry.
Mr Housley, from Cambridgeshire, has been investigating for the past six years. He told BBC News that he had no idea how the animal ended up there.

Mr Housley is keen to continue his research into how such creatures ended up as his site has been visited by several.
"A lot of what's going on out there is happening in the deep sea in large gale-force winds. The atmosphere is much thicker, there's more oxygen and you get more air trapped in the water, and it really makes it difficult to spot objects, as the animal wouldn't be able to see its way to it.
"We've been looking down the bottom of the sea for the last 6 years and it's really easy to spot something like this there."
He said the mysterious creature looked like a fish, but wasn't big, he didn't see the legs, and he didn't see a mouth.

The two men, who have been scouring parts of Devonport since 2011, have seen the animals before, having seen one in 2011.
Sydney says he went to their site again last year when he found the new discovery of the face, and was surprised by what he saw.

"It's really hard to say just how it happened because the area where it is there, there's only one site and that's the one you're looking for," he told BBC News.
"I looked at some areas there before that were relatively flat and had a couple of lakes so I could see it. It's quite a strange thing, as it's the only one I've seen before."
"But at the moment, no one has a good explanation for that other than it's the strangest thing I've ever seen before."

Dissenting physician calls for inquiry on board's decision
Boehner and Ryan said they disagree with the idea of a special investigative committee to review the medical decisions of hospital executives, but they did not directly challenge the decision to fire an employee.
Their remarks came after U.S. Rep. Peter King of New York, ranking member of the House Homeland Security Committee, told NPR the medical director's firing is a blow to trust between government and hospitals.
"The board's decision to terminate Dr. DeAngelo is a serious and troubling development that raises serious doubts about this institution's commitment to patient safety," King wrote in a statement. "It represents yet another example of the lack of trust between hospital administrators and patients, and one of the causes of the department's deteriorating financial condition. …
"There remains hope that something can be done to improve this situation."

King's committee — which has launched a task force to investigate the hospital's financial crisis — said in a statement on Thursday it would press the House Oversight Committee to hold hearings on the fired employee.
House Democratic leader Nancy Pelosi said Thursday she supports King's effort to force accountability from the president and the board's decision to dismiss a senior manager.
King's office did not respond to phone and email requests for comment and did not respond to a request for comment. King has repeatedly cited "a lack of trust" among health-care facilities, and he has said health-care providers and hospitals should be the best stewards of patients.
He also has pointed out that most of the staff at the health-care facilities he has targeted — including the hospital where he is a health insurance policy adviser, where his children attend school and a local church — have been fired.
King said in a blog post Wednesday that the board had been reluctant to hire someone who had been a director, because it is "toxic for the board to have a career path that focuses exclusively on corporate leadership." He called on the board to replace Dr. Paul D. DeAngelo, who was the former deputy health director, with someone who could give "a sound management perspective."
On Tuesday, King's office released a video of a 2013 visit to a local hospital, where he described a disturbing list of problems at the hospital, including a lack of medical staff and the high cost of medications.
He later said the videos were staged.
